Comprehensive Community Support Services

Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS) -  The purpose of CCSS is to coordinate and provide services and resources to children, adolescents and their families as necessary to promote recovery, rehabilitation, and resiliency. CCSS identifies and addresses the barriers that impede the development of skills necessary for independent functioning in the community, as well as strengths which may aid the client or family in the recovery or resiliency process. CCSS activities address specific goals in the following areas: independent living, learning, socializing, recreation, and school.

Behavior Management Service Program

Behavior Management Services (BMS) are structured services designed to serve individuals with emotional, behavioral, neurobiological, or substance abuse problems of such severity that appropriate functioning in the home, school, and community requires highly structured behavioral interventions.  These services are part of an individualized service plan designed to develop, restore, or maintain skills and behaviors which result in improved functioning or which prevent deterioration of functioning.

Treatment Foster Care

FamilyWorks, Inc. is a not-for-profit Treatment Foster Care (TFC) program licensed and certified by the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department to license, train and support Treatment Foster Parents to treat children ages 4 through 18 who are placed in their homes. TFC provides around the clock, seven days a week clinical supervision/on-call, therapy, and case management services.

Out-Patient Clinic Day Treatment

The Out-Patient Clinic is staffed by Psychiatrists who are seeing clients ages 4 through 18, for psychiatric evaluation or medication management. The clinic is open from 8-5, Monday through Friday and appointments are taken by the coordinator of the program. Referrals can be made by anyone.  However the parent/guardian must be either present for the appointment or available by phone to give consent.
