At Desert Hills, a leading mental health treatment center in New Mexico, we recognize that many times a child or adolescent will struggle with the symptoms of more than one mental health disorder at a time. For this reason we have made sure that our treatment center offers a number of specialized treatment options that can address a wide range of mental health disorders, as well as behavioral issues and emotional disturbances that a child or adolescent may be facing. Our treatment is designed to treat each disorder simultaneously in order to ensure a more successful outcome for the patient.

Why Consider Treatment

Why consider treatment for mental health disorder at Desert Hills of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM

We have 10 distinct units here at our treatment center, each one having its own unique programming designed to specifically address the needs of the various populations. Additionally, each one of these options follows a chief modality throughout the entire treatment process, which coincides with the unique needs of the patients on that particular unit. Additionally, as part of our specialized treatment, we offer a dual-diagnosis program, which is designed to provide services for those who have problems with drugs or alcohol in addition to a primary mental health diagnosis.
